Cross Border Brand Communication
Internationalism is one of the key areas of communication. Whatever their level of study, students need to be able to put something international on their resumes.
At Sup de Pub, that’s what we’re all about.

Training
The BIP CBBC project is part of the international training offered by Sup de Pub. This inter-institutional educational program, supported by the European Commission, aims to develop students’ skills in international communication. The participants, from six European institutions (AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Antwerp, FHWien der WKW in Vienna, Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, and Sup de Pub in Paris) worked on current issues such as climate change, reinforcing their know-how in marketing, communication and intercultural collaboration.
The project
The BIP CBBC is an inter-institutional educational competition supported by the European Commission. This year, students from six countries took part in UNESCO’s Green Citizens project, which focuses on the fight against climate change. During a week in Paris, the participants designed a marketing and communication campaign to promote local solutions, backed by scientific expertise and civic commitment.
Challenges met
This ambitious project involved a number of challenges:
- Conduct collaborative research remotely from their respective countries.
- Present the participating teams in an ice-breaker format in English.
- Proposing creative solutions to raise awareness of climate action.
- Working under time pressure in a multicultural environment.
- Convincing a real customer with innovative and realistic proposals.
Rendering
The final production consisted of a comprehensive and innovative communication campaign, meeting the expectations of the client, UNESCO, and highlighting local, national and international solutions for the climate. Each team also presented concrete processes for mobilizing economic, political and cultural players, demonstrating in-depth strategic thinking.
The role of the school
Sup de Pub has provided a pedagogical framework conducive to innovation and international collaboration. By mobilizing reference professors, thematic conferences and a multicultural environment, the school has enabled students to develop key skills in international communication, while raising their awareness of global issues. This project embodies Sup de Pub’s commitment to training competent communicators who are aware of their role in society.
In a nutshell
The Gold Prize awarded at the Grand Prix des Écoles de communication underlines the impact of the BIP CBBC on student training and the international appeal of Sup de Pub. Not only has the project enhanced the professional skills of the participants, it has also contributed to a collective reflection on the fight against climate change. An inspiring experience that demonstrates the importance of education in building sustainable solutions.
